20 year old male - Looking for first time insurance on a desired 2002/3 Audi A4 1.9 TDi Quattro.
Being a first time driver with a car in insurance group 12 might seem like a very big ask -
I am considering going as a nominated driver under one of my parent's insurance and looking to build my no claims bonus from there onwards.
Why such a powerful car i hear you ask?
Answer - Because i don't feel safe in the 'toy cars' (E.G. - Ford Ka, Renault Clio, Saxo, Ford Fiesta) most people my age seem to be driving, i am not a petrol head and i am sure any car insurance company could plainly see that an Audi A4 1.9 Quattro is hardly the first choice of a boy racer.
Any suggestions and will it be possible? Manageable on another's policy?
I do not mind paying a little more for quality, security and safety that is why i am opting for the Audi A4, thanks to all in advance.
