Atheists: Could you explain what criteria evidence must meet to be valid

proof of God's existence? I want to add that if such proof is discovered you don't go from not believing that God exists to believing that God exists. The end result is KNOWING that God exists. No middle ground here. But anyway, please address the question.
 
Either of:
1. Acceptable empirical evidence (ie something that would meet the standards typically required for publication in a reputable academic journal)

2. An internally consistent, valid logical argument demonstrating not only that a deity of some description must exist, but the particular one know as "God" must exist.

Nothing else will do I'm afraid.
