in the english translation of the Kjv the word sodomy is actually used in leviticus 17 or 18.
the reasons God destroyed the world with the flood are listed there too.
the words also used in hebrew describ "coppulation" which is a very plain and clearn teaching that sodom is described as an "abomination" by God.

however, disclaimer, not all things by homosexuality alone are called an abomination by God. i think john 16 also defines what an abomination is for christians. or is it 12:16?

If someone is a homosexual and doesn't understand that it's a sin, then perhaps if they believe the Holy Spirit will show them that it's a sin, they will repent,and be Born Again to have eternal life.
