Affordable GPS For Hiking/Trail Riding?

I am looking for an affordable GPS (Under $150.00) that I could use for hiking as well as (horseback) trail riding. It does not have to be fancy. All I want is something that will track how many miles the trail ride/hike was, and also permanently show me what trails/paths I have taken/where I have been. I dont care if it is supposed to be made for cars or hiking. Anything will do as long as it has those two features.

I do not have a Smart Phone.
