above it. As a result, the bullet/block combination moves vertically upward.
(a) Determine the velocity of the bullet/block combination at the point of impact.
(b) Determine the maximum height reached by the bullet/block combination.
(c) Is kinetic energy conserved in this collision?


Im not asking for answers but if someone can please guide me through this problem as well as what their thought process was when it came to starting the problem because I honestly do not know where to begin.
