95 gmc sonoma dying and stalling problems?

Hi our truck keeps on stalling and dying it goes fine for a while then it stalls then dies when it does that we dont lose power at all the radio and lights and everything still works it just dies and wont start up again until about 5 or 10 mins later it will but sometimes it takes longer then that for it to start up again and that is after my fiance jiggles the wire harness and it starts up again. But this time he was told to unplug a sensor and plug it back in and he did that and now the truck wont start ay all but we still have power when you try and start it we can hear a small click sound when we turn the key and the lights dim or flicker like its trying to start but it wont start.... what could all these problems be? We are looking for some help and fast we are on vacation and we cant afford to tow it over 200 miles back home where we live. If you all could just please help us by giving us answers or help us with trying to figure out what it could we would deeply appreciate it thank you
and it couldn't be the battery because we still have power to everything except it just wont start and the battery is not even a year old yet we just got it a few months ago i wan say inn march or april we got the battery

It sounds like you have a dead battery.

It does sound like a dead battery, but it may be your alternator or some thing else in your charging system.
Also if it cranks but won't start, till 5 or 10 min. later it could be something like a coil pack or ignition computer over heating. Then it won't start till it cools down.
