2003 Dodge cam shaft positioning sensor?

I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 4.7 magnum that has the chek engine light on. I scanned the truck and the camshaft positioning sensor and the crankshaft sensor were popping up. I replaced both but the check engine light never went away so I scanned it the 2nd time and again the camshaft positioning sensor popped up. Can anyone shed some light on why the replacing of the sensor didnt solve the problem?

Did you re sync the cam and crank sensors with a scanner? I have Chrysler vehicles come. In my shop all the time because people replace the sensor and don't sync them

Hello, If you replaced the parts, did you cancel the codes? You must cancel the codes or some codes will cancel if you remove the positive battery cable. Hope this helps, Good luck !

Was the ECM memory cleared?

Disconnect the battery for approx 2 hrs, then reconnect and drive. Now look.
