2001 Toyota Avalon XLS fuel mileage?

Hi all,
I have just bought a 2001 Toyota Avalon XLS with 93000 miles on it.
What is the ideal fuel mileage of this car? If any one has owned it or aware of it, please reply. My friend said it will be very less say 15-18 MPG.
Also how much will a 90K tune-up costs for this car at a Toyota dealer and is it worth it?

tune cost at dealer 400 to 600 dollars but worth it....

MPG...avalon is a big powerful car...maybe 24 hyway and 18/19 city...not a economy car...
