1995 gmc sonoma oil pressure switch?

I have a 95 gmc sonoma haven't really had to many problems with it I can't handle. But last week it started giving me the low oil pressure light every time I hit the clutch and brake then it started back firing and now it will not crank. I have limited mechanical experience but learn as I go any advise please.

The lights may have nothing to do with the problem, they might have been a symptom of the engine almost stalling. You need to check whether you have any fuel pressure, and make sure your cap, rotor, and spark plugs are in good condition. If the problem is not there, you can diagnose further. This sounds like fuel starvation from a bad pump or related problem.
