I've had my '93 Camry for about a year and a half now. It has gone through all the normal maintenance, and it runs fine. However, starting a few days ago, every time I turn off the engine the dashboard makes an obnoxious beeping noise in intervals of four (ie, beep-beep-beep-beep. . . beep-beep-beep-beep. . . beep-beep-beep-beep. . .), and continues to do so for a few seconds.
This has never happened before. No lights flash on the dashboard, my headlights are off; there is nothing I can think of that would do this, and it's VERY different from the dinging noises that accompany opening the door with the keys still in the ignition.
Can anyone please help with this? Because yes, it IS extremely annoying.
