I installed my 12" sub and amp that work perfectly that i got from my friend.
My problem is my standard deck does not have a remote wire for the amp to turn on or off.
I would like to do this without buying yet another component and if there is any combination of negative speaker to ground...

i have a Sony str-dg520. it has one sub output which is 1 rca jack. not 2. most amps i've seen have red and white inputs. how do i connect my receiver to the amp then to my sub? or do i need the amp? i've tried the rca to wire audio cable and that didn't work. please help!

i am using this for an electro plating experiment. it is a mobile charger and has only one insulation each one is pure black and another one is black with faint white marks. could someone tell me which positive and which is negative.

I had 2 different power wires. Both 6 gauge. I combined them like you would speaker wire and it works fine. I taped it up real good and it works fine. The original wires didnt reach alone. Will this have any long term effects for the bad?
are u suppose to run the remote wire from an amp of course to your radio fuse in the fuse box in the center console of a cobalt. if not running the remote wire to correctly , could it cause the whole amp to not turn on?
Im a bit puzzled. I have a power wire running from my battery to my existing amp in my car, but I'm not sure what gauge the wire is. The wire casing hasn't got it labled on it, only that its 10mm2. I'm not sure but I think it's an 8 gauge wire. If so I am thinking of replacing it with a 4 gauge...
