im trying to protect my frame from cable scratches as i noticed cables hitting the frame and causing the paint to chip (which is also annoying because it makes bell like noise), so im going to cover that area with something just not sure which will be more durable and will have better protection...
paper? Will it be rare that all the plywood sheathing under the siding and tar paper be destroyed and I would have to replace all the plywood sheathing? The reason I ask is because the siding and tar paper are builders grade material and its 35 years old. Even if it builders grade materials...
I have a ton of vinyl(although no Bloomfield vinyl Marty) and i was thinking on getting a record player because i have been listening to most music from my Iphone
Is it alot better
@Marty wow the only Bloomfield vinyl i saw was the one he did with John Hammond and Dr.John. Its Not Killing Me is...
Signature Limited? I'd never even consider this car but I have an awesome chance to buy one with only 4,000 miles. The padded roof is a bit pimp for my taste though. What's involved in removing it? I'd be repainting the car anyway.
I'm not looking for something still wrapped in the "original" plastic or whatever. I want to play them on my record player. However, every website I've been on has the collection unopened. I'd like to buy all of them together but I guess used. Help?
floor. Its a rental home.? I have tried bleach, wax stripper, usual floor cleaners, methylated spirits, mineral turpentine, car wax stripper, acetone, sandpaper, gumption, vinegar and bi-carbonate of soda and have left these on the marks before scrubbing but nothing has worked. The stains have...
My boyfriend just bought a foreclosed house, and the people that lived there were heavy smokers. (yeah, they couldn't afford to pay their mortgage, but they could afford cigarettes). Anyway, all the vinyl windows are stained brown, and was wondering how to clean it off.
I have a pair of Stanton Str8-150 turntables and they've recently started making a strange noise. As I rewind/cue my vinyl, a loud whining noise comes from underneath the record. I don't think it's a technical fault, more like something happening between the platter, the slipmat and the vinyl...
I making a custom top for my jeep. I have clear 40mil pvc film for the window and marine grade vinyl from joann fabrics to use as the "frame". My question is how do i join the two materials? Soft top makers seem to use some kind of heat bond. I was planning on sewing it but this is pretty thick...
I'm looking for websites from which I can purchase vinyl LPs of audiophile quality (180-200+ grams of vinyl). However, I haven't had much luck in my search, yet I know they exist. Can anyone give me some web addresses that meet these wants? Or perhaps just a better way to search for them?
I have a large vinyl collection (about 1100 records) I would like to sell with records ranging from the 40s - mid 90s. Is there any place in the area I can take them to? Or can you give any other suggestions on ways to sell them? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Why do muso boffins prefer vinyl when it starts of great but the sound quality deteriorates seriously torwards the end of the side when the grooves get smaller where all the epic songs usually are? They are selling lots of metal albums on vinyl still, have they improved since the 90's when I...
Even on B&O or other great system, it starts of great but torwards the end where the epic songs usually are the sound quality deteriorates seriously. SO why do people prefer vinyl?
(I was tempted to buy a LP but this puts me off. Or has vinyl LP's got better since 1990?)
They are releasing many...

I've seen this before, someone told me that it's a type of mold. Aside from the unlikely color, bright pink, it doesn't seem to spread or act in any way that's consistent with any mold I've seen. It seems more like a chemical reaction. Ideas?
