There is a very old club in Raleigh nc that was called the tar heel club off of tarheel club road. I have been trying to find out the history on it and have come up with nothing. If anyone can help it would be great.
I looked up what "tar" is. It says that tar is made by distilling coal or Wood. But how could you distill coal or Wood? wouldn't the coal or Wood start to burn if you treat it with high temperatures? And how could you distill tar when it's flammable?

I'm starting to use liquid pine tar and I'm wondering if after I apply the pine tar on the bat do i need to use a rosin bag? A kid on my team does but if its not very important im not going to waste the money on a rosin bag.

I have a clicking coming from an actuator. When i looked under the glove box i noticed sticky black tar had leaked down. Any thoughts.
I don't expect it to have anything to do with the actuator.
This season I want to put pine tar on my batting helmet as the pros do. The only problem is, I'm not quite sure how they make it look so good. Does anybody know how to do it like the pros or is there a special type of pine tar I could use? I know how to simply put it on my helmet, but I want it...
