When driving along there is a squeaking noise coming from the engine area of the car. When the pedal is depressed it gets louder. Could this be the water pump bearings - if so how costly to fix?
I bought a 4x4 2003 Nissan Frontier SC king cab a couple months ago, and it was squeaking slightly when i went over a bump or turned quickly, since I couldn't really hear it, and since it didn't seem too loud, I just ignored it. Well, less than 500 miles later, it seems the entire truck is...
its a 2003 Ford Escape 2WD.
From inside the car, the noise seems to be coming from the middle of the car under the engine. at very low slow speed is sounds like a soft grind/hard squeak noise like a rocking chair. At higher speed (above 20mph) it's more of a high squeak sound. This is a pulsing...
Whenever I put my foot on the brake, or even when I don't have my foot on either the brake or accelerator, the car makes a loud squeaking noise. It sounds like something is wrong with the tyres. When I accelerate the noise disappears. The noise is particular loud when I turn a corner.
I have...
It does not happen all the time, but mostly when i turn left, it comes out of the front passengers side air vent. If the air vent is off there is no noise so it has to be a something with in the air vent system. The noise is sqeaky and sounds like a cricket.
I just purchased a 2010 nissan sentra car. every time I reverse slowly (with break on ) it make a squeaking noise. The dealer has change the break shoes on rear breaks but did not help stopping the noise

my ford truck makes a squeaka (yes SQUEAKA ) sound when i drive. it starts off slow and then speeds up when the truck speeds up but doesn't make the squeaky noise when i take my foot off the gas petal.
It's coming from the belt area but I can't narrow it down to what the problem is and it's very annoying. I had a new belt put on and had the pulleys cleaned before that. The squeaking went away for about two weeks then returned. I had it looked at again and a tensioner was installed but the...
I have a can of WD-40 that I've considered using, but I'm missing the red straw that comes with it. Is there anything I can use in place of the straw? Are there any substitutes to de-squeaking my wheel (household tools)?
