if you want to play with 2 people do you have to be online basic is it going to be like the lego games format where you and your friend sit down and play together with 2 controllers side by side

I finally got Bike Race on my Kindle Fire HD and have been having a lot of trouble with the multiplayer. Basically, whenever I try and connect to Facebook, it comes up with an error message saying 'Bike Race is misconfigured for Facebook login. I've tried uninstalling the app but to no avail...
