headlights

i smoked my head/tail lights today and i just tested them out in the dark and it was very hard to see. does anyone have any suggestions on what i can do to reduce it or do i just need to strip it off and start over? Tail lights are perfect btw.

the headlights are foggy but only on the top brims of the headlights. i have tried waxing it but it disappeared for 2 seconds and came back

The left headlight (as if sitting in the drivers seat) is lighting up but not popping up? Is this something I can fix myself and if not is it pricey? Any info greatly appreciated.
