I wonder if it's correct to put the hot air vent to the crawl space since the dryer is in the middle of the house and there is no other way to get the vent outside.

I just moved into my first apartment and bought an electric washer and dryer. Once I moved in I realized that there was no exhaust vent for my dryer. My maintenance man said to buy an indoor exhaust kit for my dryer from Lowe's (Lam bro Industries 4" x 5' Lama Flex Lint Trap Kit). Last night I...
I am having a yard sale next weekend and one of the items I am selling is a three year old Frigidaire (bought new) dryer. I used it and it worked perfectly until ten days ago when suddenly it would not start. I heard this might be an easy fix but the repairman wanted $85 just to come out and my...

When my house was built, the builder vented the dryer to the covered front entry way. I have put a lint trap box to filter the lint. Next, I disguised the area with plants. I continue to have lint cover the plants' leaves, front door, and floor of the porch. What else can I do to cut down on...

The hole that leads to the exhaust pipe out of the apartment in on the floor and I don't really want the tube just sitting out in the open. The last place I lived had the exhaust pipe mounted into the wall so I don't quite remember if this is possible.

I live in a mobile home. During the winter all the strays have decided it would be a good idea to take shelter under my home, using it as a litter box as well. For some reason when I open my dryer, the smell of cat urine seeps out. I don't know where it is coming from in the dryer. My father...

Installer said he would cap it off. Is this an easy process? Doesn't the cap cost like a few dollars?
He also took 5 feet of our old vent...
I don't really have any money at the moment because I bought a washer and dryer and it was delivered today. My dryer is taking over 2 hours to dry clothes... This is the first time I've ever had a washer/dryer hooked up in these apartments so are they responsible for keeping the vents usable for...
