I recently noticed my 10 inch alpine type x was making a lot of noise. I took the sub out and noticed sparks coming from where the cone and spider meet. I figured the voice coil or somethings messed up. Is it worth repairing or should i just toss the sub?? It also smelled like it was burning.

Does my car have a Distributor cap or Coil pack? I had an '81 Cadillac that had a Coil pack that I helped my grandpa work on, but someone told me my Honda has a distributor cap? It look almost identical to the col pack except it only has 4 plug instead of 8 in the caddy. What does my Honda...

rating like 3VDC or 6VDC? Normally the Power Relays with 10 to 15 amp c/o have 12VDC or 24VDC coil operating voltage. The question is can they be designed to operate on lower , even 3 VDC , coil rating.

Today I lost my connections to my voice coil jumpers to run them at 2 ohms so without the jumpers I don't know how to run my sub I looked at the specifications and I think I need those jumpers. Can some one help bad. They belong to my alpine type x thanks

The check engine light came on and I had the car scanned and it found error code P0353. I'm going to replace the faulty ignition coil but I don't know where ignition coil C is located and my Internet searches have been unsuccessful. Thank you in advance.

I've searched all over for (NOT LOWERING) coil springs for this car & I cannot find them at all! Please, please someone out there has to know a website I can get these from, your help is truly appreciated. obviously i used google, yahoo & any other search engine

I'm changing the plugs on a 2000 Grand Cherokee, I took out the 3 long bolts holding the coil packs on, but it seems to not want to come off on the side against the firewall. Any tips? THanks
