I have a 78, and I know it's really just a car with a bed (like car suspension) but what's its limits for carrying because I don't want to put something in the back that would damage it.
I am moving to Lima and am thinking of taking my 1977 El Camino Chevrolet. However I might buy one there instead of shipping mine. What are the chances that I can find a 1973-1978 El Camino there? What kind of price would I have to pay for one in decent shape?
Typically I assume El Camino's are more valuable than Sprints. However the 1971 Sprint was the first year GMC made them and they only made 1,030 of that year. So does the rarity of this year make it more valuable than Chevy's same-year model? (assuming both are in the same condition of course)
Okay so i seriously love the black keys, there my favorite and i can't wait till el camino comes out! i just need to know if they are coming to Washington? I wanted to see them in Seattle for the brothers tour but i didn't have the money. i just need to know if i can get a chance to see them!
...in north New Jersey for a 17-year old? The company would probably be Allstate, and a deductible/discount would be that I am a safe driver. About how much per year would insurance cost for this car? The car would be a daily driver, also. I was just curious, because I want an El Camino.

I have a 1967 El Camino Body with an Oldsmobile Rocket 350 motor. It is missing a radiator and I was hoping someone could tell me what cars to look for at the salvage yard that would have a radiator that would fit. Here are the dimensions NAPA Auto Parts gives me: 16 1/8" x 25 x 2"
I was just reading that U2 spy planes require chase cars to land properly...which are usually high performance cars. I guess in the early 80's they used g-body El Caminos with 396 big blocks put in them. I can't find specific info on these cars anywhere!

I've talked to a few of my friends about the car but they said that it wasn't really that popular and didn't sell to well. I was just wondering why and the mpg the car.
Ok so I have $10,000 to put on it....the car is still good..runs ok...needs lil body work due to lil rust....needs paint job...so I want to put a newr engine...nothing big but something that sounds like a beast if unno what I mean...I want to get a tune up..replace fuses and other stuff....new...
How much is it gun cost roughly?just a simple restoration...engine,tune up,sound system, paint job, rims, unno...and I can install the sound system myself so give me a roughly estimate on how much that will cost if possible.Thank You
i just stripped my 350 down to find out that there is water in the heads, rust and funky carbon-oil build up.please tell me i can still use this block and heads with a clean up from a machine shop.the 350 did not come with the car but that's what it's for.it will be a cruiser with a little umph!
Does the El Camino Conquista have a SS package? I'm asking b/c I have a 1984, and the VIN is registered as a Conquista/SS model. How exactly do you tell if its SS or not?.....mines has v8, 350, 5.0L, 4bbl.
I'm getting ready to buy these http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=320335019218 on ebay.. and I'd like to know if they'll fit first.
It's the right bolt pattern. 5x4 3/4
