The question pretty much explains it.
I have an 01' Audi A6 with AWD. I've driven it up to Tahoe in the Winter, but they usually do a good job of keeping the roads clear. So I've never lived with it in snow, or in snow ever at all.
I can't afford much, but I'm thinking I might need a new car...
For 2013, the 3.5-liter V-6 of the 2012 FX has been replaced by the same 3.7-liter that’s populated the rest of the Nissan/Infiniti range. Power is up to 325 ponies while torque receives a more modest increase to 267 pound-feet of torque. The redline remains at 7500 rpm, while the seven-speed...
The dealer said like E65...1 step above regular but on the internet it says you can use regular....can I use regular gas in this car & if so why would the dealer say to use the higher gas?????
I think its 772 hp because its ALL WHEEL DRIVE! Thats because the engine is driving the back wheels and front wheels. AMAZING! But this guy tells me that having all wheel drive does not affect horsepower. I think he lies! Because the back wheels is connect to the engine. The front wheels...
I have a 2001 a4 Quattro 5 speed awd and whenever I do a burnout it's on gravel but today I did it on a wet rainy road and I spun my wheels in place but I let go of the gas just in case I broke something . Is it bad to do that??
Cadillac has been producing some really fantastic sedans as of late. We’ve been fans of the CTS (particularly the monstrous V-badged version) for some time now. Recently, we fell head-over-heels in love with the brand’s new compact sedan, the ATS. Now, Cadillac has seen fit to toss us the key...
The problem with the Lincoln MKS is this. It is essentially a Ford Taurus SHO. This is a good thing, as we like the SHO a great deal. It’s a big, comfortable, fast, well-equipped sedan, and is a sportier, cooler alternative to the blingtastic Chrysler 300C. The MKS, meanwhile, seems rather supp...
We recently had some seat time in the Chevrolet Equinox. While it’s not the newest of the CUV pack, Chevrolet has fit it with a 3.6-liter V-6 for 2013, giving it more than enough gusto to compete with the Hyundai Santa Fes and Ford Escapes of the world.
There is no shortage of options when we’re talking about executive limos like this. Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi all make some very compelling vehicles. As much as we like the S-Class, 7-Series, and A8, though, were we getting chauffeured about, we’d have a very tough time ignoring the Lexus LS.
The Volvo is a good vehicle. It’s got plenty of power from its turbocharged six-cylinder engine, packing 300 ponies and 325 pound-feet of torque. There’s some turbo lag on tip-in, but by and large the engine spools rather quickly and dumps the torque across the middle of the rev range. It feels...
Now, to be clear, despite the punchy six-cylinder engine and all-wheel drive, there’s nothing really exciting about the Venza driving experience. With 268 horsepower and 246 pound-feet of torque, acceleration is merely adequate. This Toyota will easily get out of its own way, and packs enough...
I'm looking for a used, small to mid size SUV with a smaller, more efficient (but still powerful) motor, a great 4X4/AWD system, etc. Some other features I'd really like to have are a sunroof, premium audio, tinted glass, shiftable automatic transmission, alloy wheels, fold flat rear seats and...
Searching for year '97-'02 According to reliability, gas for under $8,000
Honda CR-V is the I could find!
Toyota RAV4 is second
There are suvs w nicer insides but terrible on gas! Also, 4runners are great but bad on gas! I hear I should stay clear of Subaru and that Toyotas have more problems...
From a practical point of view, adding all-wheel drive to the Lexus GS350 makes a whole heaping helping of sense. After all, every other car in this class offers an all-wheels-driven solution. BMW has its xDrive, Mercedes offers 4Matic, and Audi has its legendary Quattro system. While Lexus...
We enjoyed our rather short drive experience in the big Volvo, though far more when we were crushing highway miles than on the few occasions that we dove into the smaller, curvier Utah roads. That’s not because the S80 felt unstable, or lacked for grip on tight corners, but rather because the...
From our perspective, the new S60 configuration offers nearly everything that we loved about the original car, but without some of the power that was frankly, a little superfluous. Of course there’s nothing wrong with “extra” horsepower, but the S60 T6 always struck us as a vehicle whose engine...
Now, there’s nothing wrong with minivans or other family friendly vehicles, per se. We like the versatility afforded by minivans just fine. We can’t deny that with the exception of a few, though, six- and seven-passenger vehicles aren’t exactly fun to drive. Unless you buy a Ford Flex with the...
While it’s not what we’d call fun to drive, the Kia Sorento is a seriously comfortable family hauler, with good looks, decent fuel economy, and an unbelievably reasonable price tag.
CVT is a bit more friendly, but still a drain on overall driving dynamics. Big and soft when it comes to handling. 3.5-liter V-6 isn't bad, but could stand a bit more power.
