A neighbor is selling a 1992 Mercedes Benz 300E for 2,400 (i'll porbably try to talk him down to 2K) It has 230,000 miles on it. Mechanically it's fine. There's one small dent on it, nothing serious. It's a lot of miles, but i know a Benz should be reliable. Not much of a car guy, help me out...

doesn't want to run good it startleS? IT SEEMS WHEN I START THE CAR, AND PRESS ON THE GAS IT GAGS, IT DOESN'T WHAT TO GO TO SHIFTING. EVEN IF I PRESS THE GAS ALL THE WAY IN IT ENFORCES IT AND SLOWLY IT GETS SPEED.

Ive already changed the bulbs, we think its a short in a fuse or the wiring. i would just like to know how to fix it. Step by step instructions would be great.
