had one today at work beautiful car by the way under the hood only on the driver side thers an amber light looking thing and a hole in the hood so you can see it with the hood closed i presume. it bugged the crap out of me what the hell is it for?

Im just asking every time he starts it up someplace, it sounds really loud and windy and he sometimes goes straight to the hood and accelerates it in the carburetor throttle linkage...
