I couldn't update to os6 and a device wipe was suggested using a 3rd party program. i wiped it and tried to load os6 but it didn't work, so i tried to restore my device but my phone keeps booting up to a whites screen and the "Reload Software: 507" problem. please help!

I don't know wether to buy the new xbox 360 250g console or a ps3. I'm leaning towards xbox because my friends have them and I could play with them. OR I could wait for the new 4g xbox to come out in August.
