It can be done two ways; General cleaning removing tank cleaning all pipes,tubes,injectors replacing filter. Would just replace the filter and see how it goes...

Battery to be disconnected. Mounting bolt and nut to be removed usually they are 17mms Tensioner to be removed usually they are 12 or 11mms. Wires from alternator to be removed usually 10,8 and 12mms connections.
