Which format is the video? You may need to convert it into a format that's recognized, such avi, divx, mp4, etc.

First disable the Divx Web Player in your browser. Firefox - Addons - Plugins Chrome/IE - Tools - Extensions Then open Task Manager, Processes tab, and end task on the Divx player. You should then be able to uninstall it from Control Panel.

You should be able to go to your drive, right-click on the video and choose "open with". I'm not sure if the Divx player can play dvd format. If not you can always download VLC Player or Media Player Classic. These also are free and will install the needed codecs.

Only download flashplayer from Adobe: http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html Adobe will take you through the steps. If you download the player from another website, uninstall it in Control Panel, Uninstall or Add/Remove programs, before downloading from Adobe.

The above answer is correct, in order to have a menu you would need to burn in dvd format. Since you're burning your videos as a data disc it's not possible to create a menu.

When you right-click on the movie choose "open with" then click on "choose default program", click on the browse button and go to divx player, put a check in the box next to "always use the selected program" and click OK.
