I bought a LMR-100A Low-loss cable to use with my yagi antenna and it picked up my router no problem and also it would pick up other signals in my area. I have now bought a RG58 Low loss coax cable as i wanted the cable a bit longer but it don't pick up my router very good and it don't pick any other signals up in my area. So i'm wondering if the rg58 cable is any good for wireless signals and if i bought another cable what one would be ok for picking up wireless signals.

RG 58 is too lossy at 2.4GHz have a go with good quality satellite cable, it should be much better
