Starship Troopers on Blu-Ray DVD?

A while back I heard that Starship Troopers would be coming to Blu-Ray. Has anyone heard anything about this? Why has it been delayed? Is there an ETA on release? Thanks!

The release date has been postponed. It's available in the UK and Australia.

No exact US release date has been set, however it has been slated for later in 2008.

From the Digital Bits (which is normally very accurate):

"And you can expect Starship Troopers to be released on the format as well, timed to coincide with the direct-to-video release of the film's second sequel, Starship Troopers: Marauder, sometime later in 2008."
