If you drive over a small animal (squirrel, chipmunk, etc) and then discover?

it isn't quite dead, should you run over it again to put it out of it's torture?

(we're talking about it hanging onto life by a thread... If your answer is "No", then what should be done about the animal?)

Squirrel? Try hitting two moose!!! I've had 2 moose jump in front of me right at the last second on bridges both times. If you feel bad about it, ya just run it over again. Apparently you don't live in Wyoming where rabbits, gophers, coyotes, deer, antelope get hit constantly. You do what you can to not hit em but sometimes it's just unavoidable when you come around a corner with another car coming at you and there they are.
