If it's travelling at 604ms^-1 then due to newtons second law should hit earth at the same speed of 604ms^-1. newtons second law states that an object will move at a constant verlocity or remain at rest unless an outside force acts upon it.

With what speed will it hit the Earth's surface, neglecting friction with the atmosphere?
