I have a 1995 Toyota Celica with 210k miles on it. (I know, she's a trooper!) It was my mom's before she gave it to me and I've been drving it for a little over a year now. I've had small problems here and there with it but this is the first time it just won't start.

We know it's not the battery because the lights still come on and my radio still works. We know it's not the starter because it doesn't make any noise at all when I turn the key. And it's not the air-intake filter because we just replaced it.

What is the problem?
and
Should I spend the money to have it fixed or should I just save up for a new car?

Need a bit more info.
What do the lights do when you turn the key?
You say the starter makes no noise at all ,Does the engine turn over ?
Turn your head lights on and turn the key see what happens then.
If your lights go out, flat battery.
If the lights on the dash stay on when you turn the key then the problem is in the starter.
