Okay, well I have the iPhone 3G. And I really want to start downloading some of the free apps that is available in the app store. It's asking me for my account information. So, I'm guessing it's my apple account. The thing is that I don't have an apple account because it asks for my credit card. So is it necessary to have this account to download free apps?
