Can i use the same transmission from a 99 honda civic ex motor on a si motor?

its a 99 Ex transmission, its manual, so i want to know if i can use it on a SI DOHC engine or do i have to buy a different kind??

youll need a different tranny...the d series tranny does not hook up to the b series engine, and vice versa...so youll need the b16 SI tranny or the b18c GSR/Type R tranny.....the b18 LS tranny will make you too slow...

U need diff tranny cuz ur Ex is a D16 and Si is a B16 they are diff and if u gonna get a tranny for ur SI get a GSR with LSD TRanny
