a remix cd question...help?

I want to make a customized aerobics cd to work out to. So I have to change the beat of the songs to make a bit faster and thus work out to. How possible is this for a person with average computer skills? Do I need a special program to do this?

I don't know if this exactly what you're looking for...but just download Wavepad sound editor, open the songs you want in the program, and click speed change, and up the number to however fast you want the beat. Then save and burn to a cd. Hope this helps.
