    Gene's and hip checks?

If a dog's parents haven't been hip checked, and might have had hip dysplasia, even if I get my dog's hips checked, could it's pups still have it?

    Thanks!

    yes.

Even dogs who have passed hip tests still produce pups with displasia.. there are multiple genes that contribute. Thats why its important to test, and also important to research and find dogs who come from bloodlines that have been tested for several generations.
