now im not saying i want to breed them constantly...i just want to breed a kind of fish once to see what its like. If its even possible for a nonprofessional breeder to breed a kind of fish then what kind should i breed that would be easy to do so without me causing them death? And how would i take care of the baby fish once born? I know that once the fish are pregnant you are supposed to move them to a different tank away from the males. But i don't know much else. Like how can you tell when they are pregnant?

Guppies or Mollies breed really well. You can usually tell that the mama fish is pregnant because she'll be swollen up and is swimming slower than usual. The baby fish will eat the same food as the big fish, but you'll want to separate the mother fish once the babies are born so she won't eat them.
