Mother and Father conflict.? Please help.?

My parents are christians but not the kind you think.
They aren't regular church goers ETC.
My father is an alcoholic and every time something is on the television he has to make some kind of argument about it. Like if something is on the news he gets all aggressive and abrasive to her and makes it HIS fight.
My mother is now rejecting to get involved in any of this conflict.
Now my father is watching this religious study and is making comments to us such as "i wonder why some members of the family are not watching..shes rejecting God blah blah blah"

Now i told dad that the reason she doesn't want to be involved is because he is always having arguments.

He is tearing the family appart.
Help.

i'm sorry your going through that, and i personally think it's great to stick up for your mother just be careful when you argue with a drunk cause it could get bad so stay safe
