My rear wheel is badly buckled, if I want to change it, do I also have to buy a whole new gears cassete with it, or can I use the original one.

If its only the wheel thats buckled and not the gears cassete then you just need the wheel , if you have a bike shop local take it in there and get them to check it for you.

no just a new wheel, no need to buy new gears unless they have been damaged as well, take it to your nearest bike shop and they can tell you if that will be necessary, hope this helps!
