i have a 87 jeep xj and its not starting its something to do wit the electric ?

its geting spark at the coil and its soild blue and at the spark plug its geting a redesh spark and not soild i put new plugs and wires and distubuter in and still not starting please help me out

the crankshaft position sensors (CPS) in these jeeps are a very common failure. they will prevent the computer from letting the motor run if it doesn't get the correct reading from this sensor

Check timing. Be sure you don't go on the wrong side of TDC. Replace the coil since you've gon this far. Check fuel flow.

If you got fuel, spark and air, it'll run.
