Can I put my razr sim card into an unlocked iphone 3g?

My razr is still under contract but if I get an unlocked iphone 3g could I just put my razr sim into the iphone? Also, would I still be able to call people and text. I am on the family plan with unlimited minutes and unlimited texting. Would I still be able to do all of the things an iphone 3g is supposed to do?

it is a razr v3 by the way

you can, but you would need to get an internet/data plan. that is mandatory with the iphone because the internet is on all the time (that's why it opens so quickly) so you would get outrageous charges if you didn't have it.

    im pretty sure you can.
from what i know, any unlocked phone will take any other sim card.
i have a optus boost phone (unlocked) with a virgin mobile sim inside and it works just fine =)
