Do I have healthy eating habits?

I don't eat strictly THREE meals a day. I try and I eat half of what's on my plate, then I'm hungry 2 hours later. So I eat a little on and off throughout the day instead. Is it true that's better for you? Small meals throughout the day or small breakfast, big lunch, small dinner?
 
5-6 small meals a day is great but for people that only eat 3 meals it should be large breakfast, moderate lunch, small dinner?
