Just wondering, because I'm writing an essay for my Spanish class and I'm just wondering which one is better to use or more common, or if they're both acceptable.. Thanks!

Spanish Speakers-- How do you say internet in spanish? La Red or El internet?

In Mexico both are acceptable... I think we use more the word "internet" because in all of the written articles about it do not translate that word!

not sure about red, i know it means network...but idk.. but i know you can use internet.
