When I try to download any font off the internet, it doesn't save it as a font.?

And when I go to open it, it opens this internet page that opens and then closes, over and over until I have to log off to make it stop. How do I fix this?

When I tried to download new fonts, I tried to download them into my font folder, which didn't work, because I had to find their folders, which were zipped, get an unzipped version, and then install them on my computer.

If you can find their folders ((just try search and type in their name)), you should be able to unzip them, and install them. I'm sorry if I was no help at all. ^_^'
