Ok, here are the details. For the past 2 years or so, almost every month it goes like this:
- Period for 7 days
- 7 days of almost no discharge
- 14 days of a light brown, basically odourless discharge
- Then period again... and so on...
I have told my doctor about this and she said if it was an infection, it would have come up on my pap smear.
I've been on the Tricyclen for about 8 years, have very regular periods. I'm 26. I'm in Canada.
What could this be? Is this normal? Should I go back to my doctor? What could I ask her to test for that hasn't already been tested for with the pap smear? HPV? I don't know!
I have only had one sex partner before my current one and I've always had a clear pap smear. It is just getting really annoying/gross to have sex during those times when the 'wiping up' is always BROWN. And I have to wear a liner 24/7. I know, TMI, but it is just grossing me out, and I feel bad for my boyfriend, though he doesn't complain... Any insights?
