Psp broke not reading disk when i put them in is it fixable or broke?

My psp (playstation portable) has broke as it will not read any of the games it put in and it makes and loud noise. Is it fix able, if so roughly how much would it cost to get fixed and where or is it broke and i will have to buy a new one please help

im not 100% sure myself but it sounds like the laser is knackered and to get it fixed by sony it would cost about £70 so its probally better to get a new one from ebay where im sure you can get one cheaper then that
