GPS. which is better Garmin, tom tom, or Magellan?

I have a tom tom and I like it. Of course I have no idea about magellan or Garmin. But on a tom tom you can actually go in an add points of interest that are not on the map like hotels, resturants, and other stuff like that. But be advised.. whichever one you get.. you are probably going to need to update the map as soon as you get it for between 50-70 bucks. it will work with the map that is on it.. but it will not be as correct as the new maps.
