    what is wrong with my car?

    I have a 98 grand prix no previous problems! at a stop light car dies will not start still have head lights and interior lights tried to jump it would not work?? any one have a similar problem

    It's not your car, it is you. Didn't you hear the big three before congress. They told congress that they have been making garbage for years. The american people finally wised up. Now they don't know what to do. This car is 11 years old in car years, the 09's have been out for a while. Just junk it. Buy a toyota, they have 0% financing right now. Stop wasting money on that junker.

    Will it crank (turn over)? If not, check the terminals on the battery for corrosion, also wires for a bad ground, fraying, etc. If nothing there, check starter.

    could be one of many problems, have it checked at a good repair shop, it could be fuel problem or ignition problem.

    maybe one of the fuses blown out. replacing it will cost you 25 cents!
