    snowmobiles pull start won't pull,is motor locked up?

    how can i fix this problem on a 1998 polaris indy LT

    can you turn the engine over with the clutch? if so pull the recoil off, if not pull the spark plugs out and try both ways( recoil and clutch) be care-full there may be antifreeze in the cylds causing a hydrostatic lock, if there is you'll be needing some gaskets to say the least.

    90 polaris indy

    i have a 90 polaris indy 400 bored to a 440. i was riding in my yard and bam lock up. it made phewf sound. if i stick a long rod in the cluch and push and pull it will go. but it makes an eek sound. then i can get it to go then press the gas an again bam. any ideas?
