Can you plug an ipod into any stereo system?

Want to buy my wife an Ipod. She is a personal trainer and I want her to be able to plug the Ipod into the system at her gym.

Almost every stereo has an AUX slot on them. Just plug the iPod in there and set the stereo to AUX and it should play whatever is on it.

    No, unfortunately not any stereo.
But some stereos have AUX plugs and you can get one of those chords at any local electronics store.

Yes. I am doing this all the time myself. You need an aux cable which can connect from your stereo from one end and to the iPod. Once you got that in, you're set.

yes. as long as your stereo system has audio-input on it. just buy any connector jack with a 3mm audio jack at the other end for your ipod.

Yes, as long as the stereo has a regular input on the back (like where you'd plug in a CD player)

then you need a cable like this:

Absolutely all you need is a Auxiliary Cord that is cheap and you can get at any Electronics store or boutique.
