For a few years now, my doctor has been telling me that I have dopa-responsive dystonia. But recently i have been having more symptoms (same ones, but more often) and we had to increase my medication (sinement) so she is starting to think that I may have Juvenile Parkinson's (im 17).
Do you know anyone with these conditions? what do they do when their symptoms are bad

It's also getting worse with age when it's just DRD. A DaTSCAN allows to decide between YOPD and DRD. A genetic analysis in many cases shows specific mutations, which are responsible for DRD. There is also a seven times higher Risc to get Parkinsons if you have DRD. But normaly this will happen 60+
