I'm a New Yorker, 15-years-old, and I'm going on a foreign exchange program for 10 months to an english speaking country, I don't know which one yet.
Either England, Ireland, New Zealand, or Australia most likely.
Anyways, how long will it take for me to have a distinctive English/Irish/Zealand/Australian accent?

I want to return to America with a heavy accent (;

Depends how heavy your native accent is. If you have a strong NY accent, you'll always sound like a New Yorker, case closed. You're not going to develop more than a slight foreign accent while away, and after awhile of being back home, you'll adapt back.

Practice while you're there. Practice even before you leave. While there, ask some natives for help, I'm sure they wouldn't mind. If you can, find out some words they use (e.g. Austrailia - Barbie = grill)

Hope this helps!
